Accounting Technician

Accounting Technician based in India

We are seeking an ambitious, skilled, proactive, and client-focused Accounting Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will bring a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a general practice setting, as well as a proven track record in managing client relationships and handling payroll. This role is fully remote, requiring expertise in remote work protocols and the ability to manage tasks independently while remaining in close contact with both team members and clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • General Practice Accounting: Provide a full range of accounting support for clients across various sectors, including bookkeeping, VAT, and Payroll (Ireland and preferably UK).
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the first point of contact for client inquiries and providing exceptional service with a client first approach.
  • Project Management: Oversee special projects. Coordinate timelines, deliverables, and
    ensure timely completion.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously assess and enhance accounting and payroll processes within the role to increase efficiency and accuracy.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in accounting and payroll software, such as Xero, Bright pay, QuickBooks, and Sage. Familiarity with remote working tools and environments. Ensure accurate financial records and reporting by leveraging software capabilities to streamline operations.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualifications: Qualified through Accounting Technicians Ireland, CA Inter, MCom.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a general practice accounting role.
  • Payroll Expertise: Strong experience in Irish payroll; UK payroll experience is an advantage.
  • Client-Focused: Passionate about delivering high-quality client services and building strong client relationships.
  • Software Skills: Proficiency in Xero, Bright pay, QuickBooks, and Sage. Familiarity with remote working tools and environments.
  • Remote Work: Prior experience in a remote working environment; comfortable with online collaboration and self-management.
  • Process Improvement: Proven ability to identify areas for improvement in processes and implement effective solutions
